Clips of the incident were shared on social media. The video clips clearly showed how low the plane was flying. Eyewitnesses describe fears that a disaster was imminent as the aircraft rushed over a road at an extremely low altitude.
Muhammed Aytekin, who captured one of the videos, spoke to the local press. He reported driving on the road when the military plane flew overhead.
This was an incredibly petrifying moment, an experience we'd never encountered before. We're still in shock. We were heading towards Argıncık when a military plane flew towards us. "Brother, it's coming our way, let's move to the right, quickly" - I said. I promptly switched on my camera. At that moment, everyone was stunned - he stated.
Aytekin also revealed they could smell fuel from the passing plane, which flew over light poles in the road's center.
