Donald Trump will become the president of the USA for the second time. In the race for power, he defeated Kamala Harris, securing the majority of electoral votes, despite Harris receiving support from stars like Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Oprah Winfrey, and Julia Roberts.
Well-known figures who voted for the former Vice President are utterly devastated. Among them is Lili Reinhart, known from the series "Riverdale." The actress has already posted on Platform X, addressing women who for years have spoken of Trump as a sexual predator.
Lili Reinhart published an unequivocal post after the election
I cannot fathom the feeling of the women who came forward about their sexual assault at the hands of Trump. Seeing millions of people vote for their abuser. My heart absolutely breaks for these women. I believe you, and I am so sorry," she wrote, causing quite a stir online. She later responded on InstaStories to the negative backlash under her post. "You can keep defending a convicted rapist and call it fake news. I will always believe these women," she added.
Trump convicted in sexual assault case
It's worth noting that over the decades, 26 women have accused Donald Trump of inappropriate sexual behavior. In May 2023, he was found guilty in a civil case filed by writer and columnist E. Jean Carroll.
The jury announced the verdict—sexual abuse and defamation—though it dismissed the rape charge. As a result of the lawsuit, Trump was ordered to pay the woman five million dollars in damages.
