In the race to reclaim the presidency of the United States, Donald Trump has employed a distinctive strategy. Notably, diverging from the norm among politicians, the businessman has chosen not to involve his family in his election campaign.

Involving family and close associates is a common strategy for candidates across various political races fundamentally because it is significant in establishing identity, fostering voter relationships, enhancing authenticity, conveying values, and crafting a positive image. However, it's crucial that this representation is genuine and reflects the politician's real life to prevent perceptions of insincerity or cynicism.

This election cycle, Donald Trump has eschewed this vital component. According to CNN reporters, he has made only three public appearances with his wife, Melania, since 2022.

After a notable absence, the former First Lady made a public return at a Republican charity fundraiser with Log Cabin, an LGBTQ+ support group within the party. The event was held at the Trump estate, Mar-a-Lago, in Palm Beach, Florida. There's speculation about Melania's potential re-engagement in her husband's campaign efforts.
Trump's daughter, Ivanka, declared in November 2022 her decision to abstain from participating in her father's presidential campaign, citing her focus on her family and private life.
