Trump's patience waning as Russia-Ukraine talks stall

Is the Trump administration losing patience with the ongoing negotiations between Russia and Ukraine? This seems apparent from the words of U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance. The politician announced that American mediation would end if Washington's proposals do not receive a positive response.

Donald Trump promised he would quickly end the war between Russia and Ukraine. So far, he has not facilitated negotiations at the presidential level. It is already known that the summit of foreign ministers on peace talks in Ukraine has been postponed indefinitely.

The delay in negotiations results from Russia's stance, which sets conditions impossible for Ukraine to meet. The prolongation of talks irritates the U.S. government. U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance even announced that Americans would withdraw from their role as mediators between Ukraine and Russia.

We will withdraw from mediating between Russia and Ukraine if we do not receive a positive response, said Vance during his visit to India.

The U.S. Vice President believes that the United States has presented both sides with fair proposals for resolving the conflict.

We have presented a clear and fair proposal to both the Russians and Ukrainians, added J.D. Vance.

This shows that the prolonged negotiations are starting to test the patience of Donald Trump's administration, which wants to quickly end the conflict.

The peace talks are further complicated by the ongoing Russian attacks on Ukrainian civilian targets. In the morning shelling of Marhanets, 9 people were killed and 30 were injured. The tragedy was caused by the impact of a Russian combat drone.
