Trump's blacklist stirs GOP tension: Critics raise alarm
Donald Trump has posted on social media the names of people who will not be welcome in his administration, raising concerns among critics, reports the Huffington Post.
Donald Trump, the former President of the United States, published lists on social media identifying individuals who will not be welcome in his administration. According to the Huffington Post, these lists, dubbed blacklists, are causing concern among Trump's critics.
Included in the lists are the names of Republicans who criticized Trump and officials from his previous administration. Among them is former National Security Advisor John Bolton, whom Trump described as "dumb as a rock."
Trump emphasized that individuals associated with his policy critics should not be recommended for his administration. As reported by the Huffington Post, this suggests that federal offices will be staffed by Trump loyalists.
Trump hires
On the Truth Social platform, Trump announced that his team has already hired over one thousand people for the new administration. "MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN," he added.
The editor-in-chief of the Bulwark website, William Kristol, noted that the Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson, is removing roles from congressmen not sufficiently loyal to Trump.
The Associated Press reported that Trump’s team is questioning federal employees about their political preferences. Recruitment is being managed by the Heritage Foundation and the America First Policy Institute.
