American presidents usually go to Walter Reed in Maryland for routine annual exams. The White House physician later announces the results to the public.
Donald Trump will celebrate his 79th birthday in June. By the end of his second term, he would be 82 years old, which would make him the oldest person to hold the office of president in U.S. history.
According to "The Hill" portal, Trump has revealed little information about his physical health since the end of his first presidential term in 2020. In November 2023, the Republican's campaign team assured that he is in "excellent health," without providing details.
Trump and his team have also provided relatively scant information about his recovery and any potential long-term effects of being shot, which occurred in July 2024. The then White House physician, Ronny Jackson, stated at the time that he examined the president's injuries.
Former Vice President Kamala Harris's campaign put pressure on Trump to release his medical records. The Democrats' demands intensified after Biden's age became a key topic for his opponents during the re-election campaign in 2024.
