On Thursday night Eastern Time, Donald Trump flew from Washington to Florida. On board Air Force One, he presented the "gold card."

Trump: "For $5 million, this could be yours"

Trump was previously asked by reporters about the "historic tariffs" he imposed.

At a certain point, Trump pulled out his "gold card" immigration plan, which, as he previously announced, he intends to sell for five million dollars.

"For $5 million, this could be yours," he said to the journalists.

According to him, this card will offer wealthy buyers permanent residency in the USA and a pathway to citizenship.

Even for Russian oligarchs?

Towards the end of February, Trump announced that the "gold card" program would be implemented mid-March. At that time, he did not rule out that the right to purchase "gold cards" could also apply to Russian oligarchs.

"Hey, I know some Russian oligarchs that are very nice people," he stated. "They are not as wealthy as they used to be; I think they can afford $5 million." He emphasized that the program is designed to attract investors who will contribute to the country's economic growth.
