Trump taunts Swift with Super Bowl exit and social media jab
Donald Trump did not miss the opportunity to once again take a jab at Taylor Swift after leaving Super Bowl 2025 before the end of the game. His behavior speaks volumes about his opinion of the artist.
On the Truth Social platform, Trump shared footage showing contrasting crowd reactions—standing ovations for him and boos for Taylor Swift when she appeared on the jumbotron at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.
He also responded to a post from one of the users, whose content read: "Trump receives huge ovations at the Super Bowl, while Taylor Swift is booed." Trump expressed approval of this narrative.
The evening wasn't favorable for Taylor Swift, who watched as her partner, Travis Kelce, and his team, the Kansas City Chiefs, were dominated by the Philadelphia Eagles, losing 22-40.

Trump originally predicted a Chiefs victory and praised their quarterback, Patrick Mahomes. However, the politician didn't stay until the end of the game—apparently, he was too disappointed to watch the final minutes.
Sparks have previously flown between Swift and Trump
It is no secret that Trump and Swift have been in open conflict for years. The singer has publicly supported the candidacies of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in the past, prompting negative reactions from Trump.
In September 2024, Trump openly admitted that he "hates Taylor Swift" after the singer supported Harris once again.
During his time at the stadium, Trump stirred up a great deal of emotion. The former president walked along the sidelines, posed for photos with local police and families of victims of the New Year's terrorist attack in New Orleans, and shook hands with a few players, including Chris Jones from the Kansas City Chiefs.
Then Trump sat in the box with Gail Benson, the owner of the New Orleans Saints, and NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.
