The assassination attempt on Donald Trump caused a huge stir in the United States. Fortunately, the former president survived and was not seriously harmed. However, conspiracy theories about the attack are multiplying, fueling emotions before the presidential elections. Dallas Alexander, a veteran of the Canadian army, believes that the assassin did not act alone.

The assassination attempt on Donald Trump took place during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, from Saturday night to Sunday around midnight Polish time. Several shots were fired at the former U.S. president and Republican candidate for another term from a distance of nearly 130 yards. The sniper was positioned on the roof of one of the nearby buildings. The shots were fired from an AR-15 rifle.

Trump was injured in the ear, but nothing more serious happened to him. After being surrounded by Secret Service agents, he stood up alone. The assassin was shot. It turned out that 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks made the assassination attempt. As a result of his actions, one person died and two were seriously injured.

Veteran on the Trump assassination attempt. Did someone help the shooter?

Dallas Alexander is a veteran of the Canadian army. He served 14 years on the sniper team and was involved in protecting the Prime Minister of Canada, among other duties. Assessing the assassination attempt on Trump, he stated that someone must have helped the 20-year-old assassin.

I am familiar with this kind of issue and how this work should be, and what happened yesterday, I have no doubt that the shooter used the help of some agency, organization, or government - believes Dallas Alexander, who posted his opinion on social media.

The first findings of investigators indicate that the assassin acted alone. The investigation, however, is ongoing. According to the Canadian veteran, the 20-year-old should not have had the opportunity to get so close to the podium where Trump was speaking. In his opinion, the roof on which Thomas Matthew Crooks was positioned was an obvious place to take a shooting position, but no one appropriately checked it and prevented the tragedy.

My opinion is this – whether it comes out now or much later – someone helped this guy, and I think it's obviously disturbing - said the Canadian veteran.

Both Democrats and Republicans are demanding an investigation and explanations since witnesses had earlier reported that a man was on the roof of the building next to where the rally was being held. However, the agents lost sight of him. Unfortunately, the 20-year-old fired a series of shots that not only injured Trump but also other individuals. One of the victims did not survive. FBI agent Kevin Rojek stated that "it is extremely surprising that the assassin fired so many shots before he was taken down himself."

Dallas Alexander was a member of the JTF 2 sniper unit. The Daily Mail recalls that one of the shooters from this formation made a record shot. In 2017, he killed an ISIS terrorist from a distance of 2 miles using a McMillan TAC-50 rifle. This is the longest recorded sniper kill in history.
