The nightmare unfolded during Donald Trump's election rally on Saturday. During the event, the former President of the USA was shot in the ear. Among the injured was the nephew of Ronny Jackson, a member of the United States House of Representatives.

Ronny Jackson informed the media that his nephew was injured during Donald Trump's rally. The assailant fired several shots, and one bullet grazed the neck of Jackson's family member.

My nephew was at the rally with friends and family. When they heard the shots, everyone immediately dropped to the ground, said Jackson in an interview with Fox News.

Later, Jackson revealed that his nephew "was grazed in the neck".

The bullet cut through his neck. He was bleeding, he added.

He later announced that this injury "is not serious". He also assured that his nephew "is doing well". Additionally, he reported that his family "was seated in front, close to where Trump was speaking".

The president and everyone else who survived are lucky to be alive, summarized Jackson.

The authorities reported that the attacker is dead. One of the rally participants was also killed.

Fired "many shots"

The Secret Service reports that the attacker fired "many shots". American media claim that he was on the roof of an industrial plant building, approximately 130 yards away from the stage where Trump was speaking.

The FBI stated that the perpetrator is a 20-year-old man. His motives are unknown. It is also unclear whether he acted alone.
