Trump leaves plane after being shot at campaign rally

A pre-election battle has been underway between Joe Biden and Donald Trump in the United States for weeks. Politicians—with varying success—are doing what they can to win over the electorate.

However, what happened on Saturday was likely unexpected by anyone. During a campaign rally in Butler attended by thousands of people, Donald Trump was shot in the ear. Although Secret Service agents managed to neutralize the assailant (who died on the spot), two other people besides Trump were seriously injured, and one rally participant died. Despite being bloody, Trump stood up immediately after being shot. A spokesperson for the 78-year-old confirmed that his health is not in danger.

A few hours after the incident, the former president was photographed. In the photos, we see him leaving a private plane at Newark Airport under the cover of darkness. A bandage can be seen on his head near his ear.
