Trump invites global leaders to invest in American manufacturing
Come to America, and build in America—Donald Trump appealed to foreign leaders and entrepreneurs who do not want to be subject to American tariffs.
Donald Trump wrote on Sunday evening on his social network, Truth Social, that "many world leaders and business executives" are reaching out to him for tariff exemptions.
He observed that foreign leaders must "right the wrongs of decades of abuse, but it won’t be easy for them."
But for those who want the easiest path: Come to America, and build in America! — the American leader urged.
Donald Trump suspended tariffs for 90 days
On April 9, Trump suspended all additional tariffs for 90 days imposed on several countries worldwide (except China), but the minimum 10% rate for all countries remains in effect, along with the 25% rates imposed by the USA on steel, aluminum, and the automotive industry.
