Trump flips burgers in Pennsylvania amid election frenzy

The race for the U.S. presidency is becoming increasingly fierce and, at times, absurd. Donald Trump, the Republican candidate, reportedly announced that he will briefly become a chef at a popular fast-food restaurant.

In less than a month—on November 5—the presidential elections will be held in the U.S. The competition is between Donald Trump, the Republican candidate, and Kamala Harris, the Democratic candidate. Experts' forecasts are unclear, and the candidates' chances appear equal. The election results depend on a few states where Trump and Kamala are still vying for votes and trying to persuade the undecided to support them and vote.

Presidential campaigns and candidates' tours across the USA will continue until the last moment. The most important are meetings and rallies in places where the numbers of Democratic and Republican voters are roughly equal. The so-called swing states include Michigan, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Florida, Ohio, North Carolina, and Wisconsin, and that's where the fight for votes is most intense.

In the heat of this year's competition, Donald Trump decided to bring out the big guns. The Philadelphia Inquirer reports that the former president declared that during a stop in Pennsylvania, he would become a chef and serve food at one of McDonald's restaurants.

Will Donald Trump become a chef at McDonald's? Jealous of Kamala?

Trump's declaration has its roots in a dispute with Kamala Harris. The former U.S. president questions her work experience, which he claims includes time spent at a popular fast-food restaurant.

"We don’t want to hear fake promises, even something like she worked very long and hard hours over french fries at McDonalds," he said at a rally in North Carolina. "She never worked at McDonald’s. It’s a fake story," insisted Donald Trump. In an attempt to bolster his claims, he reportedly decided to work in the restaurant's kitchen himself.

"I think I’m going to a McDonald’s in two weeks actually and I’m gonna work the french fries because I will have worked longer and harder at McDonald’s than she did if I do that even for a half-hour," the former U.S. president allegedly announced, humorously adding that he would include "chef" on his resume.
