Other regions, such as Kharkiv, Sumy, Cherkasy, and Donetsk, were also affected by the Russian attack. Additionally, 40 unmanned aerial vehicles were neutralized using electronic warfare measures.

According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, this recent attack on the country's capital was the deadliest since July 2024, when 34 people died, including children in the Okhmatdyt hospital.
On Thursday, US President Donald Trump commented on the brutal Russian attack. "I am not happy with the Russian strikes on KYIV. Not necessary, and very bad timing. Vladimir, STOP! 5000 soldiers a week are dying. Let’s get the Peace Deal DONE!" he wrote on Truth Social.
