As Trump stated during his speech at the White House, the company leaders have decided to establish a joint venture that will invest at least $100 billion, and in the long term, up to $500 billion over four years in building data centers in America and help create 100,000 jobs.

This monumental undertaking is a profound declaration of confidence in America's potential under its new president, said Trump.

The head of OpenAI, Sam Altman, stated that the goal of the project is to create AGI superintelligence (artificial general intelligence) and that it will be "the most important project of this era."

SoftBank president Masayoshi Son noted that it is a sign of the "golden age of America" promised by Trump, and Oracle president and Trump supporter, billionaire Larry Ellison, announced that the project will contribute, among other things, to curing cancer and other diseases and the rapid development of vaccines.

According to "The Wall Street Journal," Stargate includes a number of previously announced projects, with the first 10 data centers to be built in Texas, and they are already under construction.
