Many reports from Russian media or government representatives are elements of propaganda. Such reports are part of the information warfare conducted by the Russian Federation.

Slutsky stated, "The work requires serious preparation, which - I'm not giving away any secret - is currently at an advanced stage," as reported by Reuters.

The deputy refused to speculate on the exact date of the meeting. "February or March," he said, adding that "let's not guess, and let's give the leaders the opportunity to prepare for it competently and comprehensively, but it will be soon."

A chance to end the war?

Donald Trump announced that he will soon have a conversation with Vladimir Putin, but he has not disclosed the details and refused to answer whether he has already spoken with the Russian leader.

He stated that "serious" talks are ongoing between the authorities of both countries and more meetings are planned. On Tuesday, during a press conference, Trump declared that the U.S. is having talks with Russians and Ukrainians and expressed hope that they will do something that surpasses everything.

According to the media, the meeting may take place in the United Arab Emirates or Saudi Arabia. Ending the Russian invasion of Ukraine will be one of the main topics of discussion. The meeting's agenda may also include nuclear arms control and global energy prices.
