U.S. President Donald Trump has stated that he will soon speak with Russian President Vladimir Putin. According to the Polish Press Agency, both leaders hope their discussions will yield meaningful results and end the conflict.

However, Trump did not reveal details about the planned actions. It is only known that he intends to fulfill the promises made during his election campaign. He assured me that he could stop the bloodshed quickly.

During the ceremony approving Doug Burgum as Secretary of the Interior, Trump emphasized that talks with Russia are already underway. He did not confirm whether he had spoken to Putin but noted that he and the Russian leader "would accomplish something significant."

"We will be speaking, and I think will perhaps do something that’ll be significant. We want to end that war. That war would have not started if I was president," Trump said during the ceremony for Doug Burgum's nomination as the new Secretary of the Interior.

The President refused to confirm if he has already spoken with Vladimir Putin but stated that there are "serious" talks between the USA and Russia, with more planned. According to the TASS agency, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said that Russia is ready to engage in dialogue at the presidential level but has not yet received an official signal from Washington.

Trump also claimed that during Russia's military aggression in Ukraine, Russia lost 800,000 soldiers, while Ukraine lost 600,000 to 700,000 people.
