Transform stale bread into powerful eco‑friendly fertilizer

To prepare the nutrient, we only need 3-4 slices of stale bread. A jar of water, sugar, and cow's milk are also necessary. Cut the bread into small pieces and then place them in a larger jar. Pour 10-14 ounces of water over the bread and add a tablespoon of sugar. Set this mixture aside for a few hours.

Later, strain the bread from the water and add a few tablespoons of cow's milk. Now, you have ready-to-use fertilizer to help vegetables grow healthy and strong.

There's another option if you don't want to use cow's milk. You only need whole-grain bread and water. Cut the bread into pieces, soak it, and let it ferment. After a few days, the fertilizer will be ready to use.

Stale bread can be used to prepare a nutrient for potted plants. The following recipe works well for Zamioculcas. Crumble the stale bread into small pieces, then cover it with water to submerge the bread. Cover the bowl with a weighted plate and set it aside for a few days. After that, strain the mixture through a sieve.

Mix the resulting liquid with water at a ratio of 1:3. Water the Zamioculcas with this mixture once a week. You can also pour the nutrient into a container with a spray bottle.
