The police reported that they are inspecting the scene to determine the accident's full impact, noting that the store sustained significant damage.

Reports indicate around 20 people were inside the vehicle at the time, with four individuals, including the driver, sustaining injuries.

"It's complete chaos here. It's surreal. The tram is standing across the entire Storgata with its front deep inside Eplehuset," one of the accident witnesses said in an interview with the VG newspaper's portal.

As reported by Reuters, photos from the scene depict a blue tram that crashed into the computer store with force. The damaged store is located on the ground floor of a four-story building.

Emergency services and police arrived at the scene and secured the area. Police reported that residents of the damaged building were evacuated to determine whether the building's structure had been compromised.
