The incident happened on July 9 in Tucson, Arizona. Christopher Scholtes cared for his daughter that day while his 35-year-old wife, Erika, worked at the hospital.
The man took two-year-old Parker shopping and then left her sleeping in the car outside their home. This resulted in a devastating tragedy. Although the father left the engine running with the air conditioning on, the car shut off automatically after 30 minutes. The temperature inside the car reached 109 degrees Fahrenheit when the vehicle opened.
The matter came to light only after three hours. The girl's mother returned from work and asked about her daughter. It was then that the 37-year-old father realized he had left Parker in the car. Parker died in agony. Although she was taken to the hospital, she couldn't be saved.

Shocking facts have emerged. Investigators found that Christopher had regularly left his daughters in the car to play while he went inside to play on his PlayStation. The games occupied him so much that he forgot about his surroundings. The daughters confirmed this information to the investigators. As a result, the gaming console was seized as evidence.
Investigators also uncovered a distressing text message sent to the 37-year-old by his wife. "I told you to stop leaving them in the car, how many times have I told you. We've lost her, she was perfect" Erika wrote to her husband.
“Babe I'm sorry! How could I do this. I killed our baby, this can't be real,” the man replied.
Christopher Scholtes has been arrested. He will face charges of involuntary manslaughter and child abuse.
