A fatal cliff fall while attempting a selfie

The victim's husband, Rauf Said, shared the distressing news via social media. His post garnered hundreds of comments and private messages, prompting him to detail the last moments of his beloved wife.

"As soon as Ais fell, I sprinted forward, losing my footing but managing to remain upright. I called for help, drawing the attention of three sisters, their father and aunt, who rushed over to assist" – reports Rauf.

Upon realizing his wife had fallen, a group of nearby tourists sprang into action, navigating the challenging terrain to reach her.

"While they descended to assist her, I could only observe from above using my phone's zoom functionality. They told me that she was still breathing when they reached her . They made her comfortable using their jackets. The rescue team then arrived and kept me at a distance from the site. It was almost three hours before my wife was moved to an ambulance" - shares Rauf.

The medics later broke the news that his wife didn't survive. They proceeded to the nearest hospital, where her death was confirmed. Rauf expressed his gratitude in his post to the sisters for helping his wife in her final moments.

"The sisters recounted that Ais introduced herself, mentioned her two dogs and her desire for sweet tea. These details were also communicated to me by one of the rescuers with her during her final moments. Despite her traumatic plight, she had the grace and presence to thank the people around her. I sincerely want to thank those sisters for being with my wife in her last moments of life," - wrote Rauf.

Rauf concluded his narration by adding that he will forever remember the alarm on his wife's face at the moment she plunged from the cliff.
