Tragic accident in Kherson: Three killed while dismantling drone

Three men have tragically lost their lives in the Kherson region of southern Ukraine while attempting to dismantle a drone equipped with an explosive device. Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of regional authorities, shared the distressing news on Telegram.

The victims, aged 45, 55, and 67, discovered the drone outdoors and brought it inside a house to take it apart, at which point the explosive charge detonated.
“Tragically, all three sustained serious injuries and passed away while being transported to the hospital,” Prokudin stated.
Prokudin has issued a plea for residents to exercise caution. He advised against handling any suspicious objects and recommended moving to a safe area and contacting emergency services instead.
