The tragedy occurred on Friday, September 29, on board a plane flying from Doha to Sydney. Halfway through the 14-hour flight, the crew was informed by passengers that a 60-year-old woman was unconscious. The staff proceeded with rescue operations.

The woman lost consciousness during the flight. She could not be saved

According to the witnesses, Qatar Airways crew members performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation and even used a defibrillator. Unfortunately, they were unable to save the passenger. The airline's spokesperson announced that the woman passed away on board the plane.

Travelers who were sitting next to the deceased woman, however, claim that the crew did not do enough to save her life. They suggest that she was removed from the scene and received emergency treatment only 20 minutes after the crew was alerted to the troubling situation.

Passengers claim that the crew could have saved her life

- Why didn't they do this earlier? Nobody reacted immediately, and they simply covered her with a blanket. When we landed, it was announced that there had been a medical emergency and everyone had to stay in their seats - said Francesca, one of the passengers on that flight, in a conversation with the New York Post. Then, medical rescuers, police officers, and biological safety officers entered the plane.

According to witnesses, the victim's family should know how the entire situation unfolded. Francesca claims that the woman was already dead when the crew undertook resuscitation.
