According to media reports, including Meduza, a bank employee in Moscow pushed his wife and child out of a 16th-floor window. Unfortunately, both could not be saved. Some sources suggest that during the dramatic incident, Aleksander Lipatov and his wife were "under the influence of strong substances."

As reported by the prosecutor's office in Moscow, on Sunday, August 25, morning, the bodies of a woman and child were found under the windows of a residential building on Krasnokazarmennaya Street. They sustained serious injuries after falling from a great height.

The statement on the matter appeared on the prosecutor's Telegram channel. Everything happened in the elite Lefortovo Park residential complex.

According to initial information, the man pushed the woman and child out of the window and then began throwing things out of the apartment. Security and rescue services arrived at the scene, and the Moscow police cordoned off the area.

As reported by the prosecutor's office in Moscow, the perpetrator of the murder turned out to be a 39-year-old Russian man. He was arrested. According to the prosecutor's office, a 36-year-old woman and her son, born in 2023, were killed. The detained man was given medical assistance.

According to media reports, the detainee is named Aleksander Lipatov. He worked at the Central Bank of the Russian Federation until the spring of 2024. Then, he left his job and has been unemployed since.
