Submarine accident in Egypt: Video recording

Local authorities and the Embassy of the Russian Federation have confirmed that all the victims were Russians. The AFP agency reported that 19 people were injured, although local services mentioned nine injuries.
NEXTA published a recording on the X channel, purported to be from the Sindbad submarine. In the video, screams of panicked tourists can be heard as the submarine rapidly starts filling with water. People begin falling into the water, and then the recording abruptly ends.
It is not clear if the recording was from the day of the tragedy or from another incident involving this submarine. There have been previous unconfirmed reports that the ship might have hit a reef at a depth of 66 feet and lost pressure.
