Toyota GR Yaris reservations sell out in 30 minutes amid high demand

Toyota's GR Yaris has once again captured considerable interest from customers despite its price increase over the previous pre-facelift version. There seems to be no shortage of eager buyers for this model.

We recently reported that the starting price for the new Toyota GR Yaris is approximately $53,000 for the version equipped with a six-speed manual transmission. For those preferring an 8-speed automatic, the cost is about $55,800. The model comes in the Dynamic standard equipment version.

For an additional $3,950, buyers can opt for a VIP package, including 18-inch forged aluminum wheels with 225/40 R18 tires, a heated steering wheel, seats, a JBL audio system, and front and rear parking sensors.

Reservations for the car opened on March 12th at 5:00 AM Eastern Time. Astonishingly, all available units were reserved within just 30 minutes. Poland is expected to receive 470 units of this highly sought-after model this year.

There's a possibility that not all reservations will lead to purchases, potentially allowing for more orders at a later date. Additionally, the overwhelming demand may prompt the allocation of an extra batch of cars to the market. If neither happens, interested buyers may have to wait until next year or attempt to purchase the GR Yaris from individuals looking to sell immediately for a profit.
