Omnipresent screens are the norm in the interiors of modern cars. However, the concept shown by Toyota at the Japan Mobility Show takes it a step further, proudly presenting external displays.

FT3-e is another variation of the theme of the electric crossover. Although the manufacturer does not reveal too many technical details, the car seems to be a larger and more modern equivalent of the bZ4X model.

The minimalist body lines may be appealing. Especially when combined with details such as LED light strips or a high window line. However, the greatest impression is made by the displays placed on the doors, informing, for example, about the temperature inside the vehicle or the degree of battery charge.

The technicalities of the battery itself remain a secret. Toyota does not reveal any details about the powertrain. It does not provide information on whether the FT3-e will ever go into production. However, considering that it is an electric crossover, the chances are quite significant.

Aside from the body, the concept is distinguished by an equally minimalist cabin, with a central display that can be moved. One must also appreciate the large windows illuminating the interior, improving visibility, and enhancing the sense of space.

Will similar solutions be implemented in new models? Only time will tell. However, it is known that Toyota wants to see how the FT3-e will be received by the public. Further business decisions will depend on the reactions of potential customers.
