During the closing ceremony, the actor appeared on the stadium's roof, jumped, and zip-lined down, where he was welcomed with applause by the attendees. After the warm reception from the crowd, Cruise stepped onto the stage, received the flag from Simone Biles and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, and then rode off to California on a motorcycle.
