Despite regular cleaning, limescale and yellow stains often appear in the toilet. Instead of scrubbing, it's worth trying a particular product that may not be intended for bathroom cleaning but works perfectly for this purpose.

Cleaning the bathroom, especially the toilet, requires regularity. However, many people do not enjoy this task. A few simple but effective methods can significantly speed up and simplify the process of cleaning the toilet bowl.

Drop it in the toilet. It will shine like new

If traditional cleaning methods do not produce the desired results and the toilet still shows limescale and unsightly yellow stains, it is worth using a product usually bought for entirely different purposes. Its ingredients are excellent for toilet cleaning.

We are talking about a dishwasher tablet. Just drop it in the toilet and wait for it to dissolve. You can pour boiling water into the toilet, then scrub thoroughly with a brush and flush. After such a procedure, the bowl will look like new.

If the tablet is contaminated with strong dirt, it is worth leaving it in the toilet for several hours or even overnight. Then, follow the steps described above.

Yellow stains on the seat? Use a proven method

Unfortunately, dirt and yellow stains can also appear on the toilet seat. In that case, it’s worth using tried-and-true traditional remedies—the unbeatable household cleaning duo of vinegar and baking soda.

First, spray the seat with vinegar. It's best to pour it into a spray bottle. You can leave the vinegar for several hours if the stains are intense. If not, after half an hour, sprinkle the seat with baking soda, spray with vinegar again, scrub thoroughly, rinse with water, and dry.
