Fruit plays a vital role in maintaining a balanced daily diet - a concept any nutrition specialist would admit. However, would these experts also endorse a certain TikTok user's method for wrinkle reduction, which involves using a banana peel? The TikToker demonstrated online how she carries out this unusual banana facial massage.

User advocates for banana peel as an effective wrinkle reducer, comparing it to Botox

Alayna Ryan revealed in her "instructional video" that this particular part of the popular fruit works like magic. According to her, banana peels provide a trustworthy solution for the early signs of facial wrinkles. The advocate of this peculiar method argues that regular performance of this massage could result in signs of skin aging disappearing. She acknowledged that many may find her method off-putting, but acknowledged that beauty and well-being often come with a price.

"Okay, it might seem gross, but I've been doing this for years. It's like natural botox in a banana peel. No wrinkles!" Alayna explains as she performs her unique cosmetic procedure.

Although she has disabled comments on her post, the number of views speaks volumes. Her trick has appealed to over 120 thousand TikTok users and the video has amassed over 1.8 million views.

Banana: A skin-boosting vitamin powerhouse

As acknowledged by "The Sun," dermatologists have indeed spoken about the anti-aging properties of bananas. The newspaper cited an article from another site that confirmed the unexpected benefits of bananas. In the cited "Today" article, the views of dermatologists from Chicago, Dr. Jordan Carqueville, and from Texas, Dr. Adeline Kikam, were included. According to Dr. Kikam, banana peels contain a substance that acts like those in cosmetics designed to tighten and tone the skin. What do you think about this?
