Neat Caroline is a popular TikTok user who shares advice on cleaning and organizing spaces. In one of her videos, she presents a useful trick for drying wet clothes quickly. You only need one common household item to do this.
Clothes dry in a flash
Clothes dryers are becoming increasingly popular, but not everyone can afford one. Most people hang clothes on a collapsible drying rack. On a summer day, laundry dries quickly on the balcony or in the yard. However, when temperatures drop, the process can take several hours in the fall. Worse yet, frequently drying wet clothes indoors increases moisture levels, which can lead to mold and mildew growth.
Neat Caroline showed how to solve this problem. She advises against hanging wet clothes directly on the drying rack rods, as this prevents free air circulation. Instead, she suggests placing them on clothes hangers and then hanging them on the rack. This will increase airflow and reduce drying time.
Additionally, this method allows you to use the entire drying rack space, enabling you to dry more clothes at once. "So simple. So genius!" reads one comment.
Another way for express drying
Neat Caroline also shares an alternative method for quick-drying laundry. Lay wet clothes on a dry towel, roll them up thoroughly, and then squeeze them firmly. The towel will absorb the excess water. Finally, hang the clothes on the drying rack. This way, they will dry much faster.
