"Threat of attack". Airport in Hamburg closed
Flights at Hamburg airport have been temporarily suspended. According to the dpa news agency, the reason is a threat of an attack on a plane from Iran's capital, Tehran.

No takeoffs and landings. From noon, air operations at the airport in Hamburg have been suspended. The reason is the threat of an attack on a plane from Tehran, which has been confirmed by federal police.
The dpa agency reports, the federal police received an email threat of an attack on the Tehran-Hamburg flight this morning. The threat is being taken very seriously - the German police spokesperson relayed.
- From 6:40 AM there were no departures or landings - the airport spokesperson informed.
"Due to federal police actions, takeoffs and landings are temporarily impossible. Flight delays may occur. Please track your flight status" - conveyed a message published on Twitter by the airport in Hamburg.

The airplane, which landed around 6:20 AM in Germany's second largest city, had 198 passengers and 16 crew members on board. This refers to flight IR 723 "Iran Air." The airplane took off from Imam Khomeini Airport in Tehran at 1:45 AM.
The machine was parked in a specially designated area and is being checked by officials there. Passengers have been transported elsewhere in the airport where security checks and searches are now underway - NDR television reports.
The machines flying to Hamburg have been redirected to other airports in Germany.
