A wedding is an important event in the lives of the newlyweds, as well as their loved ones. After the official "I do" and the wedding party comes the wedding night. For Christy Young and Max King, it was extraordinary. Both admitted that they did not have sex throughout the entire engagement period.
A modest wedding ceremony was conducted by a pastor. During her vow, Christy emphasized that, as a Christian, she is extremely proud of her husband's successes. She mentioned that this was possible, among other things, thanks to abstinence.

After the wedding, the 25-year-old model admitted that she and her partner quickly found themselves in the role of husband and wife. Even though they both value privacy, Christy decided to reveal the "greatest pleasure associated with marriage".
The model believes that abstaining from sex was a good decision, although over time it became increasingly difficult to resist intimacy. Now, however, she argues that other couples should also try sexual abstinence. According to Christy, it is the lack of sex that can strengthen a relationship.
"We didn't want sex to be a distraction for us."
In an interview with Daily Mail Australia, Christy said that she and her then-fiancé didn't want intimacy to be a factor that would distract them from getting to know each other better.

Christy noted that building a deep relationship based on friendship, love, and mutual respect was far more important to both of them than sex.
- I am happy that I have a man who loves me for more than just physical attractiveness. I can honestly say that it is with Max that I've been able to create my best relationship - she added.

Max and Christy made the decision about premarital celibacy during one of their first dates. The couple is very proud of their faith and the attitude they showed during their engagement period.
