They almost made it. The Russians have lost valuable equipment again
Once again, the Russians lost heavy equipment on the front and once again did not show off. This time, the Armed Forces of Ukraine detected a TOS-1A "Solntsepeok" launcher in the field of battle, whose crew tried to hide the vehicle in a destroyed warehouse. It didn't work, the place was immediately shelled and the "toska" literally went up in smoke.
This situation repeats itself on the Ukrainian-Russian war front time and time again. It seems downright inconceivable that the Russians essentially do not learn from their mistakes. Once again they lost heavy equipment and once again they showed a lack of imagination and disregard for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This time it was the TOS-1A "Solntsepek" rocket system that was lost.
The crew tried to hide him in an abandoned warehouse somewhere along the front line. They probably expected that they could be tracked by scout drones. And they were not wrong. The problem was that the hasty maneuvers did little good, as the anti-aircraft defense system quickly fired at the building and destroyed the occupiers' valuable equipment. Another one in this war.
The Russians managed to escape, but they probably won't get their "toshka" back.
A valuable artillery system for the Russian army, or in this case a mobile, heavy flamethrower (or rather a launcher of incendiary rockets and thermobaric shells) has been eliminated from the fight and that's a success of the Ukrainian forces. As in many similar cases, the system was tracked by drones, and then the artillery came into action.
One TOS-1A "Sołncepiok" launcher costs a mere 7 million dollars.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine are consistently eliminating heavy Russian equipment, but the Russians have enormous resources and warehouses full of weapons. That's why the breakthrough on the front is still not visible, and Moscow continues to send more and more replacements for the destroyed equipment. Therefore, Ukrainians must arm themselves with patience to completely destroy the enemy's equipment.
The example of the TOS -1A "Solntsepyok" launcher clearly shows the broad military support for Vladimir Putin's army. Ukrainians report that so far on the front they have destroyed 4863 tanks, 6731 artillery sets, 9220 armored vehicles, and 316 enemy airplanes and helicopters each. These data are very impressive, aren't they?
The Armed Forces of Ukraine are trying to conserve their equipment, as they have significantly less than the invaders. And yet, these invaders still cannot maintain their gear and suffer minor and major defeats at the front every day.
