Gili Yoskovich was among hundreds of young people who went to a dance music festival in the southern part of Israel, near the border with the Gaza Strip. The event was meant to promote noble causes. However, it was disrupted by a Hamas attack, which began on Saturday at 11:30 p.m. Eastern Time.

She was ready for death. She describes what Hamas fighters were doing

In an interview with the BBC, the woman revealed that she had hidden under a tree in an open area, while Hamas fighters were circling around and killing every person they encountered. - They were everywhere and they had rifles - she said.

- I saw people dying around me. I was very quiet. I didn't cry, I literally did nothing. I breathed and told myself: "Ok, I'm going to die. It's okay, just breathe and close your eyes" - added Yoskovich.

An Israeli woman hid under a tree for over three hours before Israeli soldiers arrived at the festival grounds. - As one of the first, I left that field. It took others an additional two, three hours. During that time, people were dying there. Mainly young people, because it was an event organized for the youth - said Gili Yoskovich.

A young woman revealed that the attackers "were coming from four or five places." - Some people were shooting at me. I got out of the car and started to run, I saw a place with a lot of pomelo trees and went there. They went from tree to tree and shot. They killed everyone - she recounted the events of Saturday.

Gili Yoskovich was waiting for the arrival of the army and was convinced that the military must finally save those participating in the festival. - But nobody was coming. I was sure that helicopters would finally fly in, but there was no one. Only terrorists from Hamas - she added.

The woman came out of hiding only when she heard Hebrew. She decided to head towards the soldiers. - There were still terrorists around, so I walked with my hands up so they knew it was me and that I wasn't a terrorist. Later, someone put me in a car - she revealed.
