The White Lotus season 3 preview drops with a new Thailand setting

The anthology series "The White Lotus" is one of HBO's best productions in recent years. Both the first and second seasons attracted a large fanbase and received high praise from critics. The first season won an impressive 11 Emmy Awards, including Best Limited Series, while the second season took home two Golden Globes – for Best Series and Best Supporting Actress.

Following the finale of the second series, it's confirmed that Jennifer Coolidge will not return for the third season. "I’m jealous of everyone that’s going. I just want to stress I’m not a good sport about it, but there’s nothing I can do. When they kill you, you have to accept it. Because it means they’re not calling for your costume sizes or anything. It’s over! I have to get another thing. I have to make another thing happen, I guess," the actress shared in an interview.

What do we know about the third season of "The White Lotus"? After the paradisiacal Hawaii setting in the first season and picturesque Sicily in the second, the third season will take us to exotic Thailand. As expected for an anthology, the upcoming season will introduce new characters, but some familiar faces from previous episodes will likely return.

In an interview with "Entertainment Weekly," the series' writer, Mike White, said: "It's going to be longer, bigger, crazier. I don't know what people will think, but I am super excited, so at least for my own barometer, that's a good thing … I'm super excited about the content of the season".
