The administration of U.S. President Joe Biden has approved Ukraine's use of American weapons in attacks on targets within Russia. This decision was communicated during a phone call between U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin and Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov on November 12th.

Following the announcement, Ukrainian forces attacked an ammunition depot in the Bryansk region, roughly 112 miles from the Ukrainian border. In reaction, Russian President Vladimir Putin adjusted the nuclear doctrine, lowering the threshold for nuclear weapon use in the event of an attack supported by a nuclear power.

Ukraine can attack Russia. Poles "in favor"

A survey by SW Research for "Rzeczpospolita" indicates that 40.9% of Poles support the U.S. decision, while 21.6% oppose it, and 29.4% have no opinion. Additionally, 8% of respondents were unaware of the decision.

The U.S. decision to support Ukraine in operations on Russian territory has sparked varied reactions worldwide. In Poland, opinions are divided, yet the majority of those surveyed view it positively. "Wiadomości Onet" emphasizes that this situation could influence future international relations and regional stability.
