One of the leaders of Hamas met with the head of Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs. According to media reports, they reached an agreement on cooperation.

Ismail Hanijeh, one of the key leaders of Hamas, had a meeting on Saturday in the capital of Qatar, Doha with Iran's Foreign Minister, Hossein Amirabdollahian.

The main topic of their discussion was the recent attack carried out by Hamas on Israel. The statement issued by Hamas indicates that both sides have reached an agreement on the continuation of the cooperation.

As reported, Amirabdollahian expressed his appreciation for Hamas's "historic victory". In his opinion, this organization dealt a serious blow to Israel, occupying Palestinian territories.

Iran's Warning

Earlier, Iran sent a message to Israel via the UN, emphasizing that it does not want further escalation of the Hamas-Israel war, but will have to intervene if the Israeli operation in Gaza continues.

In their Twitter post, Iranian diplomats warned of "far-reaching consequences" if "Israel's genocide and war crimes are not immediately halted".

They emphasized that the situation is serious and requires immediate response from the international community. They pointed out the necessity of ending Israel's actions, which in their opinion, constitute war crimes and genocide.
