The Renault Niagara Concept debuts as a hybrid pickup for off‑road
Concepts are divided into two groups. In one, there are cars so futuristic that it's hard to take them seriously. On the other, constructions that we would like to see on the market. An example? The Renault Niagara Concept.

The French unveiled it in Brazil as a preview of several future models that will hit the international markets before 2027. The Niagara concept embodies the distinguishing features of the brand's next proposals, but also a very interesting, individual vehicle.
In the pickup-style body reminiscent of a somewhat modified Dacia Duster, an E-Tech hybrid with four-wheel drive is hidden. The manufacturer does not reveal technical parameters, but these are not the most important in the case of the concept work.
Indeed, what sparked more interest is the aggressive look and combative details that make the car look as if it were about to start in Dakar. Huge ground clearance, all-terrain tires on boldly styled rims, a roof rack, or additional lighting will certainly come in handy off the beaten path. It's just a shame Renault didn't bother visualizing the interior. I wonder if the cabin would be just as spectacular.
We may find out about this in the next few years. Although the French have not yet confirmed the production version of the pickup, they admitted that they have several bold proposals in the plans. However, it is worth noting that we are talking about the South American market, so most of them may not even make it to Europe.
