The President of the United States, Joe Biden signs crucial bill concerning funding of the government
After much ado about nothing, or perhaps about really something, the bill concerning government funding was passed at the last minute, avoiding the government shutdown. Now, Joe Biden made his move without any waiting and signed the bill. This means that his government secured funding for its operation until the end of the fiscal year.

$1.2 trillion—this is how big the package is. And it was signed now by Joe Biden, which means it's fully approved and ready to materialise. The government's funding is now secured until the end of the fiscal year, that is, September 30th, 2024. The package of funding includes all of the areas of government functioning, including health administration, education, the army, and basically everything else.

The bipartisan funding bill I just signed keeps the government open, invests in the American people, and strengthens our economy and national security (...) This agreement represents a compromise, which means neither side got everything it wanted.
There is, of course, bitterness in this statement as the very long Congress saga ending at the last possible moment was a tense struggle, and no one really got all they wanted. But nevertheless, it is a sigh of relief for the Joe Biden administration, which has unprecedented struggles waiting for it. The war in Ukraine, the war between Israel and Hamas and possibly not less important, the lurking of Donald Trump trying to overthrow the American democratic system and turning the United States into some kind of Southern wild farmland twisted manlike feudal fantasy.
