This absence of FIA approval might pose a disadvantage for those anticipating to test their skills in prestigious series. However, it also unlocks limitless opportunities for AMG engineers to apply unrestricted solutions in their design and performance.
The result is the creation of a monumental beast, embodied in the form of the AMG GT2 Pro. A mere glimpse at the bodywork gives you a substantial understanding of its prowess.
Furnished with a massive rear wing, giant side skirts, and a sizable front splitter, the car assures adequate downward force, while the 4-liter V8 engine lurking under the hood offers incredible performance.
The twin-turbo unit cranks out 709 horsepower, which momentarily spikes to 751 hp with the use of the Push2Pass system. A nimble 6-speed sequential transmission is responsible for the powertrain.
Ensuring the highest level of performance is a fully adjustable suspension and lightweight, 18-inch rims donned with track tires. For safety, racing harnesses and a fire suppression system have been integrated. Comfort isn't compromised either, provided by an air conditioning system.
The interior of the GT2 is decidedly sparse, focused on racing functionality rather than luxury. Yet the package comes with a plethora of accessories for consolation. We're referring to a custom Puma suit, gloves, shoes, and even bespoke underwear. Other add-ons include helmets with intercoms and a hydration system.
The price tag? Starting from 625,000 euros, labeling the GT2 Pro as a high-roller's plaything would be an understatement.
