How to eat celery?

It is best consumed raw, in the form of slices. We could also grate it. Although we will then supply ourselves with all the nutrients, this form of preparation has one drawback. The vegetable simply does not have a very intense taste and few will want to crunch it as a standalone snack. Therefore, a good idea is to steam it, bake it, add it to the soup or eat it in the form of a salad.

Celery Salad - recipe

Ingredients:

  • celery root,
  • apple,
  • 1 tablespoon of apple vinegar,
  • 1 ounce of walnuts,
  • 0.7 ounce of chopped parsley,
  • 1 tablespoon of canola oil,
  • 5 tablespoons of thick natural yogurt,
  • 1 tablespoon of grated horseradish,
  • 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise,
  • salt and pepper.

How to prepare:

  1. Wash the celery, peel it, and grate it on a coarse grater. Do the same with the apple.
  2. Finely chop the nuts.
  3. Drizzle all ingredients with apple vinegar.
  4. Mix together canola oil, plain yogurt, grated horseradish, and mayonnaise. These ingredients will create a sauce, which will make the celery salad taste incredibly good.
  5. Add chopped parsley to the salad, season with salt and pepper. Stir.
