The final Audi TT rolls off the assembly line, concluding a 25‑year journey
Well-designed, swift, and affordable - these words aptly describe the Audi TT. After 25 years and three generations, its remarkable journey now officially draws to a close.
The end of the model has been long foreshadowed by the introduction of special editions in many European markets in recent months. The end now has officially come. On November 10, 2023, the last Audi TT was manufactured at the factory in Győr, Hungary.
This marks the termination of a splendid 25-year run. Throughout this timeline, the TT witnessed three generations and saw a total production of 662,762 units. Notably, the longest produced was the last version which debuted in 2014.
However, the final TT model is not just an ordinary one. It is the TTS variant, draped in Chronos Gray Metallic paint, which is embellished with dark chrome and outfitted with 20-inch rims—a beauty its owner will surely appreciate.
The vehicle enthusiasts will find delight in the 320-horsepower two-liter engine that delivers excellent performance. Prior to this, a more powerful model variant boasting a 400-horsepower engine, powered by the iconic 2.5 liter five-cylinder engine, was also available.
The decision to cease production has not only disappointed admirers of the model but also the entire automotive industry. Similar models are increasingly hard to find in the European market. Nevertheless, there remain several hundred units available in showrooms. Those quick to act may still have a chance to purchase the last available units.
