After several recent accidents regarding the safety of air travel in the United States, the authorities decided to increase federal control over security standards for the United Airlines.

There was a series of accidents in the United Airlines recently, ABC News reports on three major and quotes: 'a piece of the outer fuselage falling off one jet, an engine fire and a plane losing a tire during takeoff.'

This is a serious issue concerning the social trust to the United Airlines. Although, the accidents were not anywhere close of harming any of the passengers the authorities decide to take closer look at the functioning of the safety procuders of the United Airlines.

We quote Sasha Johnson, United Airlines vice president of corporate safety after ABC News, who in a recent note to the employees made remarks about the increase of federal control over her company:

Over the next several weeks, we will begin to see more of an FAA presence in our operation as they begin to review some of our work processes, manuals and facilities. “We welcome their engagement and are very open to hear from them about what they find and their perspective on things we may need to change to make us even safer.

The regulations regard overall safety procedures and control of the pilot training (the United Airlines claim they were going to increase the number of the days of training for the pilots starting May anyway).

The United Airlines officials also stated that they are going to look closely at the accidents and look for a repeating pattern to identify flaws in their actions and procedures.
