News broke in 2022 that Bruce Willis had retired from acting due to a neurodegenerative disorder of the central nervous system, known as aphasia. This disease disrupts speech, orientation, and cognitive abilities. Alongside this, Willis was also diagnosed with an incurable form of dementia - frontotemporal dementia.

The disease has gradually been causing the former Hollywood superstar severe repercussions. It considerably hinders his day-to-day functioning, creating significant communication difficulties. Additionally, he sometimes fails to recognize his own loved ones and friends.

The famed "Die Hard" actor John McClane was recently visited by his former spouse, Demi Moore. As detailed by "Closer" magazine, Willis could not recognize his ex-partner. The woman, with whom he shares three daughters, was deeply affected by the health state of the father of her children. Despite this, the outlet confirms that Willis still recognizes his children, who bring him immense joy during their visits.

Demi Moore and Bruce Willis married in 1987 and stayed together for 13 years. Despite their divorce, they managed to maintain a cordial relationship. They often posed together for pictures on Moore's social media platforms, displaying their camaraderie. The former couple share three daughters - Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah.
