The camera caught them. Prince Harry's reaction goes viral
On Monday, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were spotted at an NHL game in Vancouver, Canada. Notable members of the British royal family seemed to thoroughly enjoy the game. A video capturing Harry's expressive reactions to the on-ice events has gone viral.
Monday saw the Vancouver Canucks play against the San Jose Sharks in front of their home crowd. The game ended in a win for the Canadian team, defeating their competitors 3:1.
Spectators' eyes were glued to the rink, witnessing the competing hockey teams, and to the stands, where members of the British royal family, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, were present.
Footage from the game indicates that the renowned couple thoroughly enjoyed their time at the Vancouver arena. The best evidence of this is a short video the Canadian team posted on their official account on platform X.
The video captures the couple's reaction to one of the plays on the rink. At one point, Prince Harry releases an exuberant yell, throwing both hands up in celebration, while a pleasantly surprised Meghan Markle cups her mouth with her hand.
A moment later, the royal duo rose from their seats and started applauding the athletes standing. A visibly joyful Prince Harry celebrates with a bit of dance and a broad smile in response to the players' exploits.
Fascinatingly, Prince Harry is hardly the only sports enthusiast in the British royal family. His older brother William is a fervent soccer fan and frequents Aston Villa games, where Polish player Matty Cash plays. The heir to the British throne has been a lifelong supporter of the team and involves himself in its activities.
"He joins in for training. He talks to us like any regular person, and we treat him the same way when he comes around. He likes being with the guys, as he's a huge Villa fan. He knows all of our names and nicknames, all of it. He's a hardcore fan; he loves coming around here," Matty Cash remarked about Prince William in an interview with the "Daily Mail".
