On June 13, the fourth season of "The Boys" will debut on Prime Video, accompanied by a "bloody" trailer that has recently surfaced online. This Amazon series has garnered a significant fanbase for its bold challenge to the more "polite" Marvel superhero productions.

"The Boys" unveils an alternate reality where people with supernatural abilities live among ordinary individuals. Some are invisible, others as fast as lightning, and some can fly. While these traits may seem familiar, their deep-seated corruption sets The Seven, a group of the world's most powerful superheroes apart.

As famous as celebrities and athletes, they dazzle in front of cameras and on giant billboards. Homelander leads them, embodying the challenges that come with god-like power - a descent into psychopathic megalomania that Superman has avoided. Unfortunately for Homelander, he is spiraling into madness.

Fortunately, opposing The Seven are the eponymous Boys, united by a single mission: to take down the superheroes. They aim to expose their true identities, unveil their crimes, and show the world their true nature. The Boys operate at the fringes of the law, determined to confront The Seven and their divine delusions head-on. Can a mere mortal topple an immortal? The Boys are dead set on trying until their very last breath.

"The Boys" is a politically incorrect saga brimming with black humor, violence, and sex. Yet, it's far from being mere entertainment. With its incisive satire on a consumerist society and parody of the superhero genre, it stands as a formidable counter to the conventionally "polite" Marvel narratives.

The first three episodes of "The Boys" season four will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on June 13, followed by the release of the remaining five episodes at weekly intervals. The season finale is scheduled for July 18.
