Taylor Swift's rose gesture boosts Harris amid election frenzy

Taylor Swift, a pop icon and one of the most influential artists of her generation, has once again expressed her support for Kamala Harris. According to "The U.S. Sun," Swift, who has openly supported the Democrats for years, sent Harris a gift to encourage her during this crucial moment for the country.

Swift openly supported Harris for the first time when the Vice President faced Donald Trump during the presidential debate. Trump criticized Harris for relying on popularity rather than political specifics. However, Swift did not hesitate to offer her support.

As reported by an anonymous source close to the star, on election day, the artist decided to send Harris a "huge bouquet of roses" along with a message full of support. Swift wrote to Harris: "We stand with you, sending tons of support and love. We are proud and ready to see you make history."

Taylor Swift's longstanding political support

The support Swift has given the current government is nothing new. In 2020, during the campaign for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, Swift baked cookies decorated with the slogan "Biden Harris 2020" and encouraged her fans to participate in the elections.

Soon after, she published an open letter expressing her support for the vice-presidential candidate, humorously signing it as the "old cat lady." In her statement, she emphasized that she sees Harris as a "talented leader with a steady hand," and also noted that "we will achieve much more when we are led by calmness, not chaos."

Kamala Harris supported by other stars

Harris, one of the leading figures of the Democratic Party, can rely on the support of many celebrities. The last days of her campaign were filled with rallies where stars like Oprah Winfrey and Lady Gaga appeared. At a rally in Pennsylvania, Lady Gaga joined Harris on stage, and at another event in Houston, Beyoncé spoke, allowing her song "Freedom" to be used during the campaign.

Trump criticizes celebrity support for Harris

In contrast, Donald Trump openly criticizes the stars' support for Harris, suggesting that these actions are merely superficial and insignificant. At a rally in Pittsburgh, he accused Beyoncé of not performing on stage when Harris spoke and commented on the crowd's reaction, claiming that "the audience booed the speech, but the media didn't show it." Trump doesn't mince words, emphasizing that his campaign focuses on politics rather than the celebrity glitter, which he believes is superficial.

Taylor Swift supports Harris with the country's future in mind

According to Swift's source, the singer believes her symbolic gesture can give Harris positive energy on this important election day.

Taylor knows how important today is for our country and that Kamala needs all the support and love she can get. The whole day is focused on work, but also on the election results, as we are all aware of the tense situation we are in, stressed the source.
