Taylor Swift's Grammy faux pas: Ignoring Celine Dion during award acceptance sparks outrage

The announcement for this celebrated category was made by Celine Dion. After a long spell away from public appearances due to health issues, Dion stepped back into the limelight onstage.

Dion suffers from Stiff Person Syndrome, a condition marked by progressive muscle stiffness and painful recurrences of muscle spasms.

The audience gave the musical titan, Dion, a fittingly royal welcome with a standing ovation. However, she committed an egregious error when Swift stepped up to the stage.

In a video shared online, the artist can be seen hugging people around Dion. All this while, she paid no attention to Dion, even as she was accepting her award.

Despite posing together backstage, dispelling rumors of any feud, Swift did not escape Internet criticism. Comments ranged from "Time to cancel her" and "Disappointment of the night", to "That was incredibly embarrassing on Taylor's part", "Celine didn't deserve this", and "Zero class and tact".
