Taylor Swift is currently the most popular and influential singer in the world. For a long time, many people accused her of being politically passive. Americans were curious about who the artist would vote for in the upcoming November elections. Taylor Swift made her stance known after the debate between the candidates. She announced on Instagram that she supports Kamala Harris and her vice-presidential candidate, Tim Walz. Donald Trump was asked for his thoughts.

Republican candidate Donald Trump has commented on Taylor Swift multiple times. A few weeks ago, he stated that she is incredibly attractive, but he admitted regretting that her views are more liberal than his own. However, he believed the artist supported his candidacy due to online photos of Taylor Swift's fans wearing shirts with Trump slogans. It was later revealed that AI-generated these images.

Donald Trump comments on Taylor Swift’s words

Taylor Swift's post about supporting Kamala Harris and voting for her appeared just a few minutes after the presidential debate ended. The singer’s Instagram post was liked by many world-class celebrities, including Selena Gomez, Viola Davis, Charli XCX, Stevie Nicks, and Finneas O’Connell. Additionally, within hours of Taylor Swift sharing a link to register to vote, over 300,000 citizens used it.

Journalists asked Donald Trump for a comment regarding the most influential woman in the world supporting his opponent. With his known nonchalance, the politician said he never liked the singer and added that he expected her to vote for Kamala Harris. He also stated that Taylor Swift "will pay for it in the music market." It is unclear what he meant exactly, but the remark sounded like a threat.
